I LOVE WINE. I love the feeling it gives me and the vibe I get rather than being drunk off of liquor, it’s just two different things. You don’t have to drink wine to get drunk, you can just have a glass to relax you, that’s what it does. It relaxes me and provides comfort. Rather, me chugging down some Hennessy feeling the need for intimacy lol. I mean I wanna do it whether I’m drinking wine or Hennessy but I’m just saying… If I got Henny in my system you looking like a piece of meat to me… Continue reading “6 of my favorite affordable go- to wines”
More times than none he’s going to come back with the wrong thing…
I’m not sure if its the fact that they don’t want to do it in the first place or they’re actually that slow lol. It’s like once they get to the store they lose their common sense LOL. They don’t know where to start. Pick up a basket or do I need a shopping cart? Do I even need one of those??? Continue reading “DON’T SEND YOUR MAN TO THE STORE TO SHOP FOR YOU…”
The bottom line is that we don’t got time for your games, the disappointment, the heartbreak, the up and down of emotions, nor the mental capacity to juggle you and our goals collectively.
The idea of being black is hard, now add being a woman to the equation. It gets even more difficult. I feel like naturally, we are at the bottom of the barrel so if we want to succeed we have to fight harder than anyone else does, and it says a lot about you if you’re fighting for what you want, going that extra mile every day, even through mental and spiritual breakdowns to ultimately live that extraordinary life. When I showcase my food on social media people always compliment my food or ask me how I made the dish. I’ve always had a love for food since I was a kid so cooking in my lens is easy, and honestly, I feel like there is nothing I can’t cook. I’m so in tune with food that I can cook most things without initially tasting them. Example, when I used to live with my parents my mother brought home this purple long weird looking thing with a green stem on top… Continue reading “Why you can’t cook for shit…”
You like him… he likes you… but he won’t cuff you.
Your confused because things are good, you have good times, good sex and a cool bond. You feel as though you are the whole package, how could he pass you up right?
Maybe there was a reason you got passed up. Let’s be real. It’s always them, never us right?
Looking back I can say I used to play victim, putting everything on the other person but forgetting I played a part in allowing whatever was happening to me. How can you be mad at someone for not responding to you in a timely fashion or talking to someone else when you don’t have a title yet? That person is free to do what they want without answering you REGARDLESS of your “bond.” Some feel entitled once they give the person they are messing around with the goods but no, it doesn’t work like that.
If you wanted rules and regulations you should have laid that foundation down first instead of getting intimate and thinking him respecting your feelings was a requirement because you gave him some. Continue reading “WHY HE WONT CUFF YOU”
When I tell people I’ve found my passion the first question they always ask me is how? It’s complicated, so throughout this blog, I’m going to give you the “Keys” to understanding and finding your passion and how I found mines. First, let’s identify the importance of finding your purpose, and what it really means.
I feel like a lot of millennials are “hopeless romantics” just waiting on love. Most of us get discouraged when we are steadily meeting people who just aren’t the one. After a while, it gets tiring reintroducing yourself to people that could potentially be the “one”. You spend countless time, money and energy on people to find out that they aren’t even close to worth it. What needs to be a reminder to this generation is patience. You ever think it’s not working because you simply are not ready? Continue reading “Why being single could be a good thing…”
